Norma married Miatto Tommaso on October 7th 1933 in Venezia and then she died on November 9th 1979 in Lido di Venezia.

Ery1 aveva visto giusto.
Cercando nel dbase delle sepolture nei cimiteri di Torino, oltre ad Arte Poletto, ho trovato anche sua madre Anna Regalli in Poletto.
Purtroppo mancano le date di nascita, ma dovrebbero essere loro!

Declaration of birth was made by Bassan Giovanna, midwife, because Pietro Romanin is prevented.

This one for Vittoria Canziani has me stumped. I think it says something about her legitimacy but not sure what. I do see the name Colomba Gabbiata which is a name in my tree, but I can't tell if it's her mother or not.

Colomba Gabiato is a witness (48, housewife).
On the right side it is written that Canziani Vittoria was legitimized as daughter of Canziani Vittorio and Canziani Adelaide after their marriage (7 december 1910).
She was born on 27th of October 1910.

Interesting.... I have a Vittorio Canziani as the son of Columba, but with a different wife. I wonder if he was married twice. Definitely requires more research for this. Do you think Canziani was Adelaide's maiden name?

this was their first marriage, maybe Vittorio remarried later.

Okay, I have to figure this out. I have Vittorio (the same as mentioned in the marriage contract) as married to Giovanna Canziani, daughter to Guglielmo and Caterina Ferro. They were first cousins, which would make him and Adelaide first cousins as well. So the question then...is Giovanna and Adelaide one and the same? I have not heard of Adelaide before as a family member. I am trying to find the birth record for either name. I have Giovanna's birth date as Dec 9 1889.

so here is the birth record for Adelaide Canziani. I was hoping it would list her as Adelaide Giovanna, but no such luck. I do see her parents' names and the name of her spouse, as well as her date of death which matches what I have for Giovanna's death date.

So I messed up, the birthdate I have for Giovanna is Sep 12, 1909...same as Adelaide. Clearly the same woman. So how does it go from Adelaide to Giovanna??

Adelaide was born on the 25th of September 1889
Also on the left it is recorded that she was legitimized after her parents married on the 21st of September 1892 (2nd volume, 1st part, act 548)

They didn't always register all names in the birth act, maybe she's Giovanna Adelaide in the baptism record. Or maybe Giovanna is how she was called by family and friends anyway, who knows why, and in some documents it was recorded that way.
