I was going to ask why they were recorded in 1939 so long after their birth, but then looking at the date I realize it probably has everything to do with what was going on with WWII and the unfortunate Nazi alliance at the time.
Makes me proud to know my grandfather and his brothers were part of the resistance and help smuggle Jews out of Italy during the war.
Here is Cesare Augusto Romanin born Oct 3 1901 to Pietro Romanin and Catterina Moro.

Definitely not one of Italy's proudest moments...
Well here is Ugo Arnoldo Romanin born February 19 1900 to Guido Romanin and Ermenegilda Luzzatto.
There is no notation that I see where he was identified as Jewish. I wonder what happened to him...

Thank you!
This one is for Felice Romanin born Aug 22 1895.
Father is Vittorio Romanin and I do not see the mother's name. I do see what appears to be the date of death as May 22 1943 in Austria - I would assume in the war perhaps?

Thank you...again. How do I request the information from the State Archives? And I am wondering, do you know if they would have information on my grandfather who served with the navy during WWII? I recently found out that he was taken prisoner of war and escaped from the Germans and I would love to find out more information if possible.

How do I request the information from the State Archives?
With a written request to the State Archives of Venice (attaching a copy of your ID), here's the address:
http://www.archiviodistatovenezia.it/we ... .php?id=14
You can use a form like this (filling it with all the info you have) but you should correct it by writing "copia della Lista di leva" instead of "copia del Foglio Matricolare":
http://www.unirr.it/attachments/article ... 0Stato.pdf
They will send you the copy upon payment of the costs of reproduction and shipping (through international money order):
http://www.archiviodistatovenezia.it/we ... .php?id=88

You can request his Military Service Record (Foglio matricolare), which for the Navy is held by Ministry of Defence, here's the address:
Persomil 12ª Div. - Viale dell’Esercito n.186 - 00143 Roma
http://www.difesa.it/SGD-DNA/Staff/DG/P ... 30810.aspx
For information on prisoners of war, the Red Cross in Geneva has suspended the research service:
https://www.icrc.org/eng/resources/docu ... ld-war.htm
But you can write to Italian Red Cross for a copy of the documentation about his imprisonment (you can download a form):
