Il fratello di mio nonno materno "Rafaele Lucchi" nato a Mollaro TN il 10.0.1886 emigrò negli USA ai primi del novecento penso assime al fratello Giuseppe. Questultimo ritornò a casa verso il 1911. Di Raffaele coservo un pacco di aiuti inviato al nonno nel 1948. Vi si legge il mittente "RALPH LUCKI 1745 NAT'L RD. BPT.OHIO.

LUCKI, Martin Joseph, Sr., 85, of Bridgeport, died Friday, June 23, 2006 in Heartland Lansing Care Center.

He was born April 2, 1921 in Bridgeport, the son of the late Ralph and Mary Svaldo Lucki.

Martin was a foreman at the Lorain Coal and Dock in Blaine. He was self employed with his brothers, Ralph and Joe, at Lucki Brothers Excavating and he retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Mingo Junction Blast Furnace.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst, a member of the Bridgeport Eagles, the Lansing Sportsman?s Club and the Bridgeport Forrester?s Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Barritt Lucki.

Martin is survived by a son, Martin and his wife, Jan of St. Clairsville; five daughter, Joyce Pica and her husband, Richard of Bellaire, Karen Mancini of Long Beach, Calif., Janet Bulick and her husband, Michael of Bridgeport, Marna Hehr and her husband, Donald of Boardman, Ohio and Phyliss Corvi and her husband, Ernest of Greensboro, Ga.; two brother, Ralph Lucki of Brookside and Joseph Lucki of Elm Grove; two sisters, Edith Meigh of Bridgeport and Alice Kyanko of St. Clairsville; 17 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Msgr. Mark Froehlich as the celebrant.

Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, Ohio.
