In earlier years, she had been employed as a seamstress by the former Jamestown Fur Company, where she worked for more than 30 years. She was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church and was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. James
She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who generally loved life. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and spent many hours crocheting and cooking.
She is survived by a daughter, Rosemary Crocoll of Dunkirk; four grandchildren: William Crocoll of Ashburn, Va., Kathleen Herrmann of Vienna, Va., and Amy Joelle and David P. Woodfield Jr., both of Jamestown; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Julia Fasciana of Jamestown and Alice Scalise of Warren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Brunato, whom she married Aug. 21, 1937, and who died March 22, 1977; a daughter, Linda J. Woodfield, who died Oct. 6, 1999; three sisters: Rosie Lucia, Theresa Benson and Mary Fazio; three brothers: Anthony, Thomas and Joseph Fazio; and an infant grandson, Joseph Woodfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday in St. James Catholic Church. Msgr. Antoine P. Attea, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. and the Altar and Rosary Society will conduct a rosary service at 1:45 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Heart Gifts Processing Center, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, N.Y., 13220-3049; or to the Chautauqua Blind Association, 510 W. Fifth St., Jamestown, N.Y., 14701-4813.
