Purtroppo ho constatato che molte volte l'ndicazione della pagine non corrisponde a quella giusta e allora o ti armi di pazienza e ti passi le pagine, usando il sito Steve Morse, finchè lo trovi, oppure qualcuno che ha l'abbonamento ad Ancestry può postarti la pagina corretta.

ZAMBETTI, CATHERINE “KATIE“ - Catherine “Katie“ Zambetti, of Congers, NY died on January 10, 2006 at Tolstoy Nursing Home in Valley Cottage, NY. She was born in the Bronx, NY to Angelo and Elizabeth Serman on February 7, 1908. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Vincent Serman, Jack Serman, Mary Angelini, and Rose Serman. In 1925 she married Ernest Zambetti, they lived in the Bronx for many years before moving to Mt. Vernon, NY. She lived with her daughter and sonin-law in Congers, NY before becoming a resident of Tolstoy Nursing Home. Her husband, Ernest passed away in 1975. She was a homemaker and worked as a crochet-beader at home for many years. Katie will be remembered by all as a kind and gentle woman who always had a nice thing to say about everyone. She was predeceased by her son, Angelo Zambetti, and foster son, Joseph Rowan, who she raised from infancy. Survivors include her son, Peter and his wife, Lily of Yonkers, NY, her daughter-in-law, Mickey Rowan of Yonkers, NY, her daughter-in-law, Lucille Zambetti of Highland Mills, NY, her daughter, Rosemarie De Toia, and her husband Richard of Congers, NY, ten grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren. Friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at McGowan Funeral Home, Lake Road, Congers, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul's Church, Lake Road, Congers, NY at 10 am on Friday, with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Kings Highway, New Rochelle, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Tolstoy Foundation Nursing Home Activities Department, 100 Lake Road, Valley Cottage, NY 10989 or St. Paul's Building Fund, 82 Lake Road, Congers, NY 10920.
