A while ago, a fantastic user on this site was going to the Archivio Arcivescovile di Lucca for her own research, and whilst there she found the time to look up my "Mazzei" ancestors in the hamlet of Colognora di Val di Roggio (Pescaglia, Lucca).
That has helped me immensely in my family tree search and I can't thank her enough.
If there is anybody else visiting the Arcivio Arcivescovile di Lucca for their own research and does have some spare time (please don't go specifically for me) can you please look through the archives for Colognora di Val di Roggio from 1902-1950 (providing they have them) for the possible deaths of:
(children of Iacopo Mazzei and Rosa Guazzelli);
Stella Mazzei - not sure of her year of birth but probably between 1814 and 1823);
Maria Florinda Mazzei - born Colognora 1823;
Angela Mazzei - born Colognora 1825;
Maria Diomira Mazzei (married name Ricci) - born Colognora 1826.
Also her children by Giuseppe Domenico Raimondo Ricci;
Filippo Luigi Ricci - born Colognora 1844;
Maria Eufemia Ricci - born Colognora 1848;
Costantino Ricci - born Colognora 1852;
Ersilia Ricci - born Livorno 1856.
(children of Luigi Mazzei and Rosa Lombardi);
Maria Adelaide Frati (maiden name Mazzei) - born Colognora in 1844;
Her husband Ginese Frati - born Colognora in 1840;
Their son Giovanni Anselmo Frati - born Colognora 1877;
His wife Leontina Frati (maiden name Nocchi) - born Villa a Roggio 1877;
Maria Erminia Mazzei - born Colognora 1849;
Giovanni Mazzei - born Colognora 1852 (last noted in England in 1925 but disappears).
ALSO
Does anybody have the facility to photograph the records held at the archives?
If so, would it be possible for someone to begin photographing the records of my family from 1823?
I have managed to obtain 4 images held at the Archives regarding 4 of my ancestors:
Maria Felicita Mazzei - death 1851;
Maria Rosa Mazzei (maiden name Guazzelli) - death 1870;
Luigi Mazzei - burial 1876;
Maria Rosa Mazzei (maiden name Lombardi) - burial 1881.
These are 2 civil records (1851 and 1870) and 2 church records (1876 and 1881).
Does this mean that the Arcivio Arcivescovile di Lucca holds both the civil and church records from 1821?
Or do the civil records only begin in 1851?
If possible I would like photographs (or colour photocopies) from the full pages of the registers.
I will pay any cost up front if the archives charge for this.
These are the images I have received, but if possible would like better images and also full page photo's scans:

Thanks again,
Darin.
