Giovanni Lorenzo Bertellotti death Pietrasanta, Lucca 1869

My Gt-Gt-Gt-Gt-Gt Aunt, Rosa Angela Mazzei (b.c.1794) of Stazzema, Lucca Province married Giovanni Lorenzo Bertellotti in 1821.

I have births of their children in Alpe di Stazzema up to 1831.

They are not in Alpe di Stazzema in the 1841 Tuscany Census.

I have not found the death record of Rosa Angela Mazzei.

However, I have found the death record of Giovanni Lorenzo Bertellotti in Pietrasanta in 1869.

Does his death record give the parish or commune name in Pietrasanta?

I can't make it out.

Also, I don't think there is a mention of Rosa. Can anybody confirm this?

He was born and was residing in Querceta, which today is a part of the commune of Seravezza, at that time of Pietrasanta instead.

Rosa Angela Mazzei died after 1869, in his husband's death act it's written he was married not widower, so his wife was still alive.

Looking again - On the birth record of Raffaello Barsi (1821 in Alpe di Stazzema) hi parents were Lorenzo Bertellotti and Rosa Catelani.

Unless that is an error.

That's brilliant.

Her father was Pellegrino Mazzei, but her mother was Caterina Viviani.

I suppose this is what her family believed was correct when they gave the information to the registrar.

Bertellotti Giovanni Tommaso, son of Lorenzo and Rosa Angela Mazzei, was born in Alpe di Stazzema on September 22 1826.

Barsi Maria Teresa Francesca, daughter of Lorenzo and Lucrezia Mazzei, was born in Alpe di Stazzema on October 17 1826.

Unless that is an error.

I think it's an error, I've already seen on acts the mother's last name wrong.
