Where would I have to look to find out if the following gentleman left a will. His name is "Giuseppe Vernazza" and he was born on May 5, 1785 (I think in Pessola, Bardi, Parma, Italy) and died on April 9, 1855, at his home in Castagnorfa di Gravago, Bardi, Parma, Italy (see number 68 at: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12 ... km?lang=en).
His son, Pietro Paolo Vernazza, was born on February 22, 1832, in Castagnorfa di Gravago, Bardi, Parma, Italy, and passed away on April 26, 1904, in London, England. Pietro Paolo Vernazza is my great-great grandfather. I am trying to confirm if Pietro was in fact Giuseppe's son. I am assuming that Pietro left Italy for England after his father's death, so in the late 1850s. However, I have no records showing how Pietro travelled to England.
I was thinking that if Giuseppe left a will, maybe Pietro is mentioned in it? Maybe there are other documents from Gravago that could be of help.
